Balázs Lengyel joined the Institute of Economics, Centre for Economic and Regional Studies of Hungarian Academy of Sciences in 2013 as a research fellow. His research interest includes networks of interfirm learning, innovation systems, regional economic growth and development, spatial aspects of post-socialist economic transition. He has been a research fellow at International Business School Budapest since 2010. Before joining the Institute, he was a research assistant at Centre for Regional Studies, HAS and a junior research fellow at Institute for World Economics, HAS.
