Zoltán Hermann is research fellow at the Institute of Economics of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (IE/HAS). He has been working to IE/HAS since his graduation at Budapest University of Economics in 1996. He received his Ph. D. from the Corvinus University of Budapest in 2004. Since 2000 he is a research fellow of the National Institute of Public Education (Budapest). He was teaching at the University of Veszprém and Rajk László College (Budapest). His main research interests are economics of education and local public economics, especially the production of schooling and efficiency, inequalities in education, the effects of intergovernmental grants and the demand for local publicly provided goods.
