Gábor Kertesi has been a research fellow at the Institute of Economics since 1985. His research is focused on applied work in labor economics, demography, economics of education and health policy. He received his doctorate in economics from the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. He holds an MSc in economics from the University of Chicago. Previously he was associate professor of economics at Corvinus University (Budapest) where he taught undergraduate microeconomics and graduate courses in labor economics.
